If you want to see how much income you will receive from the Social Security Administration (SSA) when you reach retirement age, you can do so on line with the SSA. In order to do so, you will need to first create an on-line account with the SSA. Type the following web address into your browser’s address bar – www.ssa.gov/myaccount – and then click on SIGN IN / UP at the top of the web page. After you sign up, it will tell you what your retirement income will be, what your disability income will be if you become disabled, and you can also review what wages were reported to the SSA from the first year you earned wages through the current year. If there are any discrepancies as to what has been reported to the SSA, now would be a good time to correct those errors.
